Abba Atiku Abubakar, son of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, has pledged 10 buses to support mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election campaign.
He made the pledge on Saturday during a visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja, PUNCH reported. Abba defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the ruling party months ago.
The gesture is politically striking: his father remains one of the most prominent opposition figures challenging the Tinubu administration ahead of the next polls.
Also on Saturday in Osogbo, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola — long-time rivals — appeared together to inaugurate 30 campaign vehicles donated by businessman Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) for the Tinubu campaign. Adeleke's address, read by his deputy Kola Adewusi, said the alliance focused on the presidential race, while partners would back their own candidates in legislative contests.
