Iran declares UK Royal Navy, RAF and MI6 "terrorist and hostile" entities
Tehran says the move, effective Sunday, follows a Supreme National Security Council resolution.

Iran's Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday that it has designated Britain's Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) as "terrorist and hostile" entities, Xinhua reported.
The ministry said the decision took effect immediately and was based on a resolution of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, citing what it called the British government's anti-Iran actions over the past year.
Separately, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera that Tehran has no plans to meet US officials for now, while consultations with Qatari and Pakistani mediators continue.
London had not publicly responded at the time of writing. The step is largely symbolic but deepens an already tense diplomatic standoff.
